Every story has two sides. We show you both.
News from both sides takes the day's biggest stories and places opposing reports next to each other — so you can see how each side frames the same facts, and decide for yourself.
How it works
- One story, two sides. For each topic we present the perspective of opposing sources, side by side.
- Always sourced. Every side credits its publisher and links to the original report. Nothing is presented without attribution.
- Always current. We focus on the stories that matter right now, so the page reflects what's happening today.
How we choose the two sides
- Same event, opposing outlets. We pair coverage of the same event from sources on genuinely different sides — for example a Ukrainian outlet against a Russian one, or an Israeli outlet against a Palestinian or Arab one.
- We paraphrase, we don't copy. We never reproduce an outlet's text. We summarise, in our own words, what each side is actually saying — including from non-English sources — so you grasp the meaning, then we link you to the original to read in full.
- Accessible sources. We avoid paywalled links and outlets that are blocked or banned in much of Europe, so the sources we cite are ones you can actually open.
- We don't tell you who's right. Our job is to lay both framings side by side. The judgement is yours.
